ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
Sea Mist House is a new-build waterfront residence overlooking the Salish Sea, with views extending toward Salt Spring Island. The architecture is calm, contemporary, airy, and intentionally minimal. The design prioritizes experience, light, and landscape connection over visual complexity. The home is partially cantilevered above the shoreline, creating a floating sensation above the water and reinforcing its dialogue with tide and horizon.
The kitchen was designed in collaboration with PlaidFox Studio and Cesar Vancouver Flagship. The design emphasizes restraint, clarity, and continuity with the surrounding landscape. Clean lines and refined detailing allow the ocean views and stone backsplash to remain the focal point, while the material palette reflects the coastal setting in a quiet, timeless way.
